Sameh Saad, born in Damascus, Syria, is a multimedia artist and animation filmmaker of Palestinian origin. He holds a degree in Animation Cinema from Arena Animation Film Academy in Syria, which he earned in 2012, followed by a degree in Interior Architecture from the American University of Beirut in 2015. Sameh’s unique skill set bridges the realms of art and technology, specialising in creating computer-generated imagery for architectural projects, which showcases his diverse expertise and creative vision.
Since relocating to France in 2017, Sameh has been an active member of the Atelier des Artistes en Exil (The Workshop of Artists in Exile), where he continues to refine his craft and contribute to the vibrant artistic community. His commitment to expanding his artistic horizons led him to participate in the guest student program at ENSAD, the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, during 2018-2019. Sameh’s work has earned him recognition across multiple disciplines, including theatre, film, and architecture, where his innovative approach to graphic animation has made a significant impact.
Sameh’s exploration of animation is particularly focused on engaging younger audiences, where his projects often merge storytelling with striking visual design to create immersive experiences.
