002- AM to PM
Step into the emerging world of 13am with our monthly feature, 'AM to PM,' where I, George Ripton, the visionary behind 13am, take you on an exclusive journey through the month that was, our future aspirations, and an insider's peek into all things 13am.
As we swiftly move on through the short month of February and into March, I delve into the launch of our new Discord server, discuss our impending podcast series as we finalize our host and studio space. We approach the 100 mark with our onboarded artists, while we look ahead to new commercial avenues such as Amazon and Etsy.
Let's kick things off with some exciting news: the launch of our very own 13am Discord server. Picture it as the bustling hub of the 13am Crowd – a global assembly of creatives coming together for collaboration, networking, and inspiration. Discord opens up a direct line of communication between 13am and our artists, facilitating real-time interaction, feedback, and support. With dedicated channels like Community, Collaboration, and Inspiration, it's a playground for sharing ideas, finding opportunities, and building a stronger, more connected community. We've seen a steady stream of 13am creatives joining the platform, and we're optimistic that this trend will continue as we ramp up the usage of Discord to benefit everyone involved.
Next let's talk podcasts. We've been hard at work securing a top-notch studio space and locking in an incredible host for our upcoming podcast series. The studio, nestled just a stone's throw from central London, is a hidden gem perfect for bringing our creative visions to life. And our host? They're a seasoned pro with a decade of design expertise and a knack for captivating audiences, having graced the stages of renowned brands like Adobe and D&AD. Stay tuned as we unveil the full podcast concept, along with the host in March, gearing up for an epic launch just a few short weeks after.
February hasn't just been about setting the stage for our Discord and podcast endeavors – it's also been a month of welcoming new talent into the 13am family. Rory Wynn, Jasmine Hortop, Jill Senft, Mister Doodle, Andile Bokweni, Beate Fahrnlander, Ayelet Raziel and Nik Ainley, each artist brings a unique flair and a wealth of experience to our ever-expanding lineup. With further new additions already signed and delivered to surpass the 100-artist mark, our community is flourishing like never before.
In other news, we've been ramping up our content game with the introduction of more videos, giving platforms like TikTok and YouTube a taste of 13am magic. Meanwhile, our written blog series, the '13th Hour,' continues to captivate audiences as we dive deep into the creative minds of our artists. Plus, new social series like our Artist Spotlight and Global Gallery are not only showcasing talent but driving direct sales for our featured artists.
Looking ahead to March, the momentum shows no signs of slowing down. We're gearing up to expand our content offerings, launch our eagerly anticipated podcast series, and make strides with 13am Crowd and 13am Academy. And on the commercial front, we're exploring exciting new revenue streams on platforms like Etsy and Amazon.
